Municipal Team Announced, Pratt AWWA Valves, Singer AWWA Control Valves, Kinetrol Actuators

To complement our Limitorque inventory, we have finalized contract negotiations with The Henry Pratt Company to provide local inventory and turn-key valve packages to support Florida’s municipal market.

Flotech has over 4 million dollars in Henry Pratt, Limitorque, Municipal, and Industrial related products inventory. We are your one-stop shop for 1-2 day delivery of AWWA valve packages for maintenance and repair operations (MRO).

Additionally, we recently added Singer control valves and Kinetrol actuation. Our inventory and expertise make Flotech the perfect choice to provide engineered solutions for design builds, CMAR projects, and a variety of customer applications.

Flotech has over 40 years of experience in developing and promoting highly engineering products, services, and solutions that not only meet current client’s needs but address future industry demands.

To jump-start our Municipal Division we made two key hires to our team.

Eli Boone, Municipal Business Development Manager

Welcome Eli Boone, after nearly a decade of experience in the municipal market, he is ecstatic to join the Flotech team. Eli is married and raising a 12-year-old black lab. In his spare time, you can find him traveling, playing pickup basketball, swinging golf sticks, or relaxing at the beach.

Eli is looking forward to establishing relationships across Florida to make our municipal division one of the best in the country. Our quality products, service, and expertise will guide our success—the future is Flotech!

Vince Hagan, Account Manager

Vince joined our team in January after 15 years with Tyco/Pentair/Emerson, covering the mid-Atlantic states. Vince brings 18 years of experience in valve markets, from power, engineering, university, hospital, municipal, and distribution.

Vince lives in south Florida and enjoys traveling with his wife to the British Virgin Islands, deep sea fishing, and spending time in the local community. He is excited to meet with Flotech customers and continue building partnerships.

Kinetrol Actuators

Kinetrol was established as a firm of control engineers in 1958. Initially, the company’s activities were based on its damping expertise which led to the development of Kinetrol’s rotary viscous dashpots for smooth motion control.

Kinetrol later invented and patented its vane-type rotary pneumatic actuator, recognizing the emerging need for quarter-turn valve and mechanism actuation. Since then, the company has added many actuator control modules to meet the growing demand for more precise and sophisticated process control and monitoring.

Flotech is adding this important line for our AWWA customers.
