As Warren Buffet once said, “If you want a great worker, hire someone who grew up on a farm, they work from sun up to sun down and learn how to fix things themselves”.

After Kevin left the farm and went off to school, he worked as a Systems Engineer for a mechanical contractor. He quickly learned about complex instrumentation and motorized valves.

In 2006 Kevin started with Flowserve, Limitorque, in the Municipal Division dealing with large municipalities and government entities. Kevin was responsible for working closely with valve OEM’s to size electric operators and prepare bids.

Next, he became the International Aftermarket Manager for all global Quick Response Centers(QRC’s). Here he managed start-up, commissioning, and warranty claims for electric actuators on a global scale. After that, as a Southeast territory manager, Kevin managed sales channels and distributor relationships, and worked with EPC’s on product specifications, as well as end customers. A couple of years ago, Limitorque named this rising star Senior Global Portfolio Manager – Heavy Duty Actuation, ensuring that Limitorque actuators remained on the cutting edge of electric actuation.

Kevin’s is now Flotech’s Business Development Manager. He will be instrumental in driving strategic, organic growth as Flotech continues to expand its presence in the Southeast. Kevin will collaborate with EPC’s and customers alike to create value-based solutions. Kevin will also partner closely with manufacturers to make sure that Flotech continues to deliver premier products to the market.

He and his wife recently relocated from Virginia to our Florida headquarters. Please join us in welcoming both Kevins and their families to the Flotech team.
